Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
My students each year come to my classroom with a variety of talents, skills and interests. They also come with big career and life goals which all rely on their ability to read and comprehend successfully.
This year help me to create an inspirational reading lounge where every student will feel safe, loved, comfortable and motivated.
New books, flexible seating, and cozy lighting will give every student a break from the traditional high school classroom and encourage them to get lost in stories all while building their reading skills. The cleaning supplies, organizational materials and décor will promote a clean, organized space for learning.
Every year it’s inspiring to see the growth of these young adults and how much their reading and writing skills improve. In addition, how much these skills support all other subjects they are taking in the high school. As their reading and writing skills improve, their grades also improve in other subjects.
