My Project

This is my first year as an educator in a self-contained classroom. I wish to support and encourage each scholar's learning style and experience. As a result I want to create an environment that encourages and supports my pedagogy to be a culturally responsive teacher. Through research I have learned that the use of colors in instructional materials has proven to play an important role in creating different emotional reactions and capturing learners' attentions.

Color adds vibrancy to documents.

It gives your message that extra “pop” increases scholars' comprehension, motivation, and retention. It can be noted, color materials offer a memorable message that aids recognition in a way that black and white materials cannot.
