I need to conduct some research on the history of public education to develop curriculum for my students to help them with this module. These books were recommended to me by a historian; I have already purchased a few myself, but I really need additional resources. I will be able to use these books as well to make copies and to share with students next quarter. I teach at a school that is entirely teacher-created curriculum. It's a lot of work, but it's worth it--especially with your help! Students will be creating a museum exhibit to highlight their research.
