This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The Green Team wants to grow their own Greens! Our school is located in Brooklyn. We are a title 1 and 3 school which means most of the students families are under the poverty level and students are mostly multi lingual learners.

The Green team is super excited to start growing, tasting, and cooking their own grown food.

Help the students learn a skill thats usually not taught in school.

The students on this team are learning how to grow food, prepare meals and communicate in both their home language & English.
