Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students will have access to reading The Gret Gatsby to add to their study of classic literature. These novels will be used for essays and creative projects. Students will have the opportunity to examine figurative language, gender, historical lens, and the American Dream. They will think critically and build new knowledge concerning a world perspective. This book will allow students to build curricular knowledge for their AP exams and future Regents in ELA

The opportunity to read interesting narratives, think critically, and build new knowledge is incredibly important in the current world.
