Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Books can create warm emotional bonds between the teacher and students when they read books together. These books will help my students develop basic language skills and profoundly expand their vocabulary much more than any other media these children are exposed to. What better than to give my students fun chapter books to take home over the holidays and read.

These books are interactive.

They demand my students to think, and I love that! These books will also teach my students to be loving and be kind to one another. These books will also allow my students to take Accelerated Reader quizzes to check their comprehension and they are able to gain points to show their progress in reading as their reading skills get stronger. There is so much for my students to gain from having books to read over winter break.
