My Project

Reading and being read to is a huge part of kindergarten. I want to provide my students with rich-themed read-aloud books. Books my students will enjoy listening to. Books that will also teach concepts all the way from social skills to phonics skills.

The specific books on my wish list will help my kindergarten students transition into the new school year.

These books will talk about coming to school, learning routines, and making friends and will be displayed using magnetic holders. The books will also help with the big scary feelings of coming to a new school and being away from their families for the day.
