My Project

One of my favorite things about the students I have the privilege of teaching is that they are always eager to expand their horizons and try new things. Regardless of how intimidating a project may be, such as creating our school's very first news broadcast or its first cooking club, they give it their all.

The goal of this project is to provide them with literature to increase their skillsets, their creativity, and most importantly they will help our students grow to love reading.

Our film class will utilize these materials to create video-based book reports, promotional videos and a pop culture segment on our school news broadcast. Our introductory computer classes will use these materials to develop book reviews for our school newspaper, create advertisements, flyers and posters encouraging others to read the books that they enjoyed the most.
