The Physical Education Dept. at our school in Moncks Corner, SC is seeking to provide its students an opportunity to learn hockey. Hockey provides participants who are new to the sport a chance to learn and implement spatial awareness, teamwork, hand eye coordination, and communication skills. With your help, we can help give our children the chance to engage in a sport that isn’t offered in most southern states. Our vision for the annual unit is to provide kids an opportunity to use skills that will benefit them for a lifetime while incorporating our local professional hockey team (South Carolina Stingrays). Our Physical Education Department is seeking help to fund the equipment necessary to provide students this opportunity. Your donation is greatly appreciated and is tax deductible.
Our unit requires us to have the following items:
Foam hockey sticks, Gator Foam balls, Mylec goals, eye goggles, shield barriers and a hauler for equipment.
