This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

At the moment, I have 10 students with special needs, with the majority of the population being Autistic.

There are 9 boys, and just one little princess. Each and every one of them has their own unique personality and abilities that make our classroom a new adventure each and every day.

My Project

As you know, technology has a big part in today's society, especially in the classroom. My students will use the Samsung Galaxy tablets as another method of learning and/or communicating. Children learn in a variety of different ways- visual, verbal, oral, and now also, technological.

Donations to this project will allow each of my students to be able to use a tablet to access the many types of learning apps to enhance their education.

We will also have enough tablets so that each kid may use one without fighting over them. Also, for my non-verbal students, the tablets may be used as a way to find their voice.
