Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach at the tip of Texas, bordering Mexico, where my students speak Spanglish (English Language Learners). They face many challenges such as dyslexia and special needs and are socioeconomically disadvantaged, but that doesn't stop them from dreaming big. Nevertheless, my students are creative, thoughtful, and full of excitement! My first-grade students are eager for knowledge and filled with curiosity and desire to learn.

They are ready to make things happen using virtual headsets.

This project will let students experience they are working in the real world, exploring and conducting research.

I believe it will boost their creativity in Science and develop a mind of thinking like a scientist.

They will have the opportunity to expand more about science concepts and develop that enthusiasm to love and learn Science as a fun experience.
