My Project

Hi! I love my students very much and I love teaching them how to be empathetic, kind, and civil to others so they grow up to make a positive impact on our world! I have a wonderful group of fifth graders who are going through important formative years, almost entering middle school, where kindness and treating others how they want to be treated will make an impact on their peers and their lives as adults. With the age we are in full of bullying in person and online, we need to teach our kids the right way to behave and reward them for outstanding selflessness and care shown to others.

These materials will help us create the FRIENDCHIP PROJECT which will reward and recognize students who go out of their way to be virtuous, help others in need, and bring awareness to the golden rule!

We will create actual potato chip charms and laminate them, so the students can collect them when they go above and beyond with their actions and good deeds. We will chart their progress and make being kind a fun and exciting activity! We will also learn how to make friendship bracelets as an art project and gift them to a new friend in our school spreading kindness and making new connections. Thank you for helping us!
