My Students

Have you ever tried to build a house without a hammer? It sounds impossible. This is the situation facing our Audio Engineering class. My students have the will to learn, build and create - they just need the right tools.

My students have come a long way this year in our Audio Engineering class.

They have worked hard at the fundamentals. They have spent hours learning theory, and the science behind the field. They've even had the opportunity to conduct a few group recording projects. But now it's time to take the next step. In order to move forward they need computers and workstations. They're extremely dedicated students, and they deserve this opportunity.

My Project

This will be the first of hopefully many computer workstations dedicated to audio engineering. The computer will be set up in our studio lab and used on a daily basis to record, mix, master, and produce student projects. The computer will help students record college auditions, spoken word poetry Cd's, independent song writing projects, voice overs for films, research projects and more. While this is only one computer, it will be a huge step in the right direction.

By donating to this project you will be helping to open the doorway to independent learning for my students.

They will be able to work on their own projects, and legitimize the program we're trying to build. Once we have one dedicated computer it will peak student interest, and perhaps more will follow. Thank you so much for helping my students out, and for getting this music lab off the ground!
