Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In a preschool setting, our youngsters are building skills mainly through play. My children come from diverse backgrounds, and I want to provide each one of them with individualized materials, that not only encourage them to learn as they play, but to help develop those skills which will benefit them through a lifetime. Busy books that will target different learning areas, as well as playground toys and games, will allow my students to have fun as they learn. The speaker will be used to engage the students in music and movement activities inside and outside the classroom. A reading stool for the library area and a steamer, to use when changing students' clothes to make them look their best when unfortunate accidents happen. Last but not least, materials for labeling, storage and organization are needed to keep everything at reach for easy access.

My students are full of life and energy and need the right materials to support their learning, not only inside the classroom but also outside in the playground.

Having a vast variety of choices of materials and supplies in the classroom as well as outside, will inspire my students to use their expressive language and sensory skills by exploring and creating those life experiences that will be treasured forever. Providing my students with materials that will make for an engaging and safe environment where they can flourish is my main priority and with your help, we can make this happen.
