My Project

My students are an amazing group of fifth graders. The books that I requested will help the students discover a love of literature, while the printer will be used to publish the stories that they are going to write this year. I made sure to pick books that had characters that look like them, so that they can feel a connection to the characters through the books that they read.

In elementary the students should discover a love of learning!

I included some twistables and stickers to help them create illustrations and make their journals personalized. About 80% of my students have never even read a magazine before, so the scholastic magazines I ordered will be another path to getting them to read a more diverse kind of literature.
