Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As my students are graduating this June and heading to prestigious colleges they are in need of a personal computer. In order to be successful in today's collegiate environment a personal computer is a necessity.

These students are from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and are struggling to meet all the costs of tuition and room and board.

This is leaving them with very little for books and supplies. I have a goal of having a computer in each of their hands on graduation day. These students have worked tirelessly to reach their dreams for the past three years.

My Project

These are resources that the students will take with them to college to aid in their continued success. Each of them is embarking on a dream of gaining a job in their chosen field. Some are interested in business and fashion and some are interested in public service or sustaining our environment. We will need these voices and their drive in our future. Join me in helping them be as successful as possible.

This project will make the difference in these students' lives because they will be just like every other student at their universities.

Armed with the knowledge, but more importantly, with the tools for academic success.
