My Project

This class of high school students absolutely loves to work and learn. Part of teaching young adults with disabilities is making sure they have the everyday life skills needed to keep them safe and healthy. One of the biggest ones we work on is cleaning.

My autistic students learn to clean their classrooms with household supplies so that they can take those skills into adulthood.

The catch? We need an abundance of cleaning supplies to give students ample opportunities to learn those skills and practice them in a low risk environment. By funding this project, you not only help keep a classroom clean and organized, but you provide the supplies needed for the students to learn those skills for their home life.
