Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are using both traditional pencil and paper as well as their tablets this year. In our district, the State Exams are still on paper so to convert to total technology would do them a disservice. I use my printer that I bought over 5 years ago every day. It's years of use are coming to an end. In order to create and print reading and writing assignments, I need a printer in my classroom.

The other supplies on this list are basic supplies that are used for learning, grading and feedback, teaching and 7th and 8th grade fun crafts throughout the year.

We are in a budget crunch in the city and there is no extra for our classrooms. Just because the budget can't afford extras does not mean that I don't want what is best for my kids.
