My Project

Today's teachers have to be mindful that the subjects they teach must be relevant to today's student. This is obvious with some subjects like social studies and science, but not so much when it comes to teaching math. But, when we find ways to make math subjects like algebra, functions, geometry, and statistics relevant, we come out with much better outcomes and our students are more prepared for life after high school.

That's why I need your help.

I need you to help me create the math resources for my classroom that are specifically tailored and relevant to the lives of my students. I create most of the materials I use for my classroom that way I can tailor the lessons to the students that I have. That includes games, scavenger hunts, presentations, and projects. The items that I chose are going to be used to create those materials and support lab based discovery and projects in my classroom. Students will get a richer mathematics learning experience and hopefully understand the underlying mathematics behind things they see every day.
