Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach diverse high school students who love to engage in hands on learning. These materials will give my students a classroom make over that promotes inclusion and diversity; welcoming all students in the classroom. Classroom posters that promote inclusion will be in the classroom and that will be the theme of the classroom space for the year. A low table with floor cushions will greatly help various learners to conduct class activities in a different setting that will accommodate for their learning needs. Classroom supplies will also aid students in hands on learning and creating in class projects. My students will be very proud to see that their differences are being celebrated by having a classroom that celebrates and values differences. The classroom makeover will be a great way to start the new school year, providing students with a fresh new look to become inspired and truly inspire other people in their community.
