This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach at a title 1 school where resources are scarce and school budget is very low. We were blessed to receive IPADS from DOE for our students to use technology to improve their reading and math skills in an engaging and fun way. However, the IPADS did not come with the covers. Two screens have already cracked and are now unusable. Having IPAD covers with screen protectors will prevent this from happening again. In regards to headphones, my 2nd grade students use the audio feature to help them with their writing assignments and to look up topics on google. Our headphones do not have microphones and the students struggle with using the audio feature . My students are absolutely amazing and have grown so much this year. I am looking forward to see how much more they will grow by the end of the year.
