Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every child, even young teens, deserve to visit a carnival at least once in their young lives. Unfortunately, our school doesn't have the funds to procure such a trip nor is there a carnival that can accommodate our small school anywhere or anytime in the near future.

My goal is to create a "carnival themed" spirit day and give every student an experience they deserve and have earned, as they have prepared and practiced for the upcoming state tests and regents exams.

I want to, together with my colleagues, create a Carnival themed experience that will make their heads spin. A popcorn and cotton candy machine will help make our little carnival more like the real thing.

Despite facing numerous challenges, my students demonstrate remarkable resilience and an unwavering sense of humor. Their ability to persevere in the midst of adversity is truly inspiring and needs to be rewarded.
