Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is very near and dear to me because we would be helping my students that are in the Autism spectrum .

All my students can use a calm down corner but especially some of my students who have a harder time being overstimulated , getting overwhelmed, or just simply have a hard time regulating themselves.

Our kiddos need calming activities and a comfortable space. Many are learning to advocate for themselves and ask for breaks throughout the day to help calm their bodies down.

And why not a snack! My kiddos enjoy a snack at the end of the day or some are a little snackier than others throughout the day.
