My students would love to visit the King Tut exhibit this year. We need a bus to visit the museum.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I work in a title-one, public school in California. I teach the third grade. My students range in abilities from gate to special needs. Many of my class are non-native speakers.
My students are lucky enough to live close to San Francisco and its world class museums. Sadly, most students in our high poverty community will never visit these world class exhibits. A Tutankhamen exhibit has not come to San Francisco in 30 years! This is a truly a once in a lifetime chance for my students to visit the wonders of Egypt. Help my students visit "Tutankhamen and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs."
We need money to pay for a bus to visit the museum. They will be able to visit a world class museum, and see the special exhibit for free. Our only cost is the bus.
This trip will never happen without donors. California is in a serious budget crisis. We have lost our field trip funding. Often we hear of these problems, and say "I wish I could help." YOU CAN! Imagine the faces of my students seeing a golden object that dates back to 1342 B.C. They will never forget it, or your generosity. Only you can make this once in a lifetime trip possible. Thanks for opening the world up to my students.
