My Students

The theoretical physicist Stephen Hawkins once said, "science is not only a disciple of reason, but also, one of romance and passion." When I was in sixth grade, I found my passion for science because I was afforded the opportunity to learn from an incredible teacher and was given access to the tools and resources that piqued my curiosity of the natural world. I wish for my students to receive the same education I had.

My students deserve opportunities to observe, classify, measure, predict, infer, and communicate the happenings of our natural world.

Like most 11-12 year olds, my students are beginning to develop a taste their own interests. The students in my class are amazing, and I would like to ensure that they have access to some of the most wonderful tools and resources available. By funding this project, you are helping me expose my students to the marvels of science and allow them to follow their own curiosities.

My Project

As an amazing science teacher, I want to ensure that my students have a fundamental grasp of the human body. One of the upcoming units is on the human body (covered in the Life Science Unit). In order for this to happen, I am in requesting a life size skeletal model of the human body.

I want my students to show interest in Life Science by having access to models and diagrams of the skeletal and muscular systems of the body.

In this project, I am asking for one skeletal model and the complementary posters and diagrams of both the skeletal and muscular systems.
