This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
My Yearbook Leadership class has been tasked with producing the school yearbook this year. Up to now, our candids and club pictures have been lacking in quality and consistency.
We want to make this the best yearbook our school has ever seen, and this project will help us do just that.
In addition to being tools for taking pictures, cameras will also enable students to study elements of lighting and composition that will make their photos exceptional.
Now that students are not allowed to have phones out at all during the day, we need quality cameras more than ever to be able to capture memories for the entire school.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
