My Students

Our third grade classroom is a place of wonder and investigation. Students are exposed daily to new curriculum and skills. We explore various learning strategies that build us as strong readers, writers, scientists, and mathematicians.

During our school day, Students experience learning in multiple ways.

Through whole and small group instruction, each learner's educational needs are met. These are key moments for reteaching and enrichment.

SS School serves students K-8 and strives to provide students with a safe, nurturing, and quality learning environment.

My Project

When implementing the I do, we do, you do model, responsibility is gradually released from the teacher to student. The lesson or activity is initially modeled by the classroom teacher. After this overview, students are asked to complete a common task in a smaller setting or independently.

When first presenting instructional content to students, it is greatly beneficial to gather them in a central learning location that provides a clear view to all visuals used.

In our classroom, the Smart board and projector are our main technological tools. Students observe daily as I model and reinforce various skills.

We are in desperate need of classroom rugs that will allow students to gather and experience learning in an optimal way. During the winter months, the tile floor becomes cold and uncomfortable. Through this classroom addition, students will have a safe and comfortable learning area.

Through your donation, fire retardant rugs will also be placed in our classroom library and literacy station areas. Students go to these areas to read, complete assignments, or work collaboratively. By completing this project, our classroom would benefit in so many wonderful ways!
