My Project

As students prepare music for the holiday and winter concerts, what could be better than a bell choir?! The addition of these color coded bells and chimes will enhance a growing collection of instruments in the music room. Younger students will be able to make connection between note names on the bells and other classroom instruments such as glockenspiels and boomwhackers.

Students will be able to form bell choir ensembles, and accompany their own singing with these melodious instruments.

One example of a piece that utilizes bells is an arrangement of Aaron Copland's Simple Gifts!

Help our students and school expand the selection of instruments in the music room, while also helping our musicians hone in on their ensemble, literacy and coordination skills through the enjoyment of these instruments!
