This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with a number of challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.

Every child should be entitled to the basic necessities.

A child's upbringing or family's economic status should not be held against them. They need the basic materials to be prepared for school and to succeed in the future.

My Project

It's hard enough to learn when the odds are stacked against you. The majority of my students come from low-income families. My students should at least be given paper and resources such as worksheets to help them in every subject, every day. With this right at our fingertips, less time can be wasted and put towards valuable teaching time.

The copy machine will help differentiate lessons and give students work that applies to their individual learning style.

The Canon copy machine and some Canon ink can go a long way. It will be used every period, of every day.
