My Project

I teach first grade in a Pre-K through 5th grade school in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. This year I am lucky to have 21 inquisitive little learners walking through my door each day. I have highly motivated students that are excited about learning.

They are the most loving group of kids.

Quick to help one another and me. We truly have developed a school family in room 105, and I am excited to add materials to our classroom to help engage students in learning and allow our classroom to operate smoothly.

My students this year are so eager to learn, they especially have enjoyed the craftivities I’ve

tried to incorporate this year. They are so creative, but we are running low on some of the

basics that we need to enjoy our craft time: glue sticks, construction paper, and crayons. You’d

be surprised how often the certain color crayon a student needs goes missing, so I’m very

excited to add a class pack of crayons, so students can easily get the missing color without

having to buy a whole new box of crayons! Included in my wish list are things like carpet spots,

which help students find their spot quickly and easily on the carpet each day. Headphones are

also on our wishlist. We also have student headphones bite the dust occasionally throughout

the year, so it’s super helpful to have a few extra headphones on hand as we have many fun and engaging activities we enjoy on our Chromebooks. There are also some book totes on the lsit. My students would love cases to protect their books that they read for MIRP time every day.
