My Project

Many of my students struggle to start the school year strong because of a lack of essential materials they need to be productive, stay organized, and succeed in class. This project will help give them a class set of materials such as scissors, glue sticks, construction paper, arts and craft supplies, and more.

We use glue sticks in my class every day, for example, to glue diagrams and visuals into our science notebook following tough glossary terms.

It's important to me that my students re-learn how to keep an organized notebook after a pandemic where routines, organization, writing, and notebooks all seemed to disappear. The print-outs also help my visual learners in the Living Environment Regents course I am teaching, since it is rigorous material above their grade level.
