My Students

my students love to explore their creativity through art and inspire others with their work around the schools. Our charter school accepts students from all different backgrounds and immerse them in culture through art. Many of our students come from low income households but when they walk through the doors of the school all that is set aside. Their favorite part about Art class is being able to incorporate so many of these cultures, ideas, and themes in each project we do, which is one value we strive to teach here , community and culture. Each day they arrive the excitement of not knowing the project of the day keeps them on their toes and wanting to explore and express themselves more once they come to class !

My Project

This year the art curriculum is student lead and after a brief survey of what projects the students wanted to achieve this year, it is clear clay is one of the big winners. The students want a chance to not only get their hands dirty but create in a different way besides using the traditional crayon and paper. And what better way of fulfilling our wish than helping donate to the Aspiring Artists? We hope that you are just as inspired as us once you choose to donate to our project- as Albert Einstein once said, "Creativity is contagious. Pass it on."
