Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We almost have enough guitars for one grade (2 classes) to learn this amazing, beautiful, sonorous, versatile musical instrument. Please help and donate to this project so that every year Fifth grade can learn the guitar. Third grade learns the Soprano Recorder. Fourth grade learns the Ukulele. It would be great if when Fourth Graders become Fifth graders they could use their Recorder and Ukulele skills to continue creating music by playing the Guitar! If we complete this Fund Raiser soon, then this year's Fifth graders can learn the guitar, and we will be ready for future classes when they are in Fifth grade! Plus, there is always the possibility that children in other grades will have the opportunity to learn the guitar, in the form of a club, if we can also raise enough for extra guitars beyond what we need for two classes.

So please help our school bring the guitar to the repertoire of musical instruments that students get the opportunity to learn at our school.
