Help me give my students an air purifier to clean the air they breathe!
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Pavich's classroom raised $401
This project is fully funded
My Students
My Pre-K students will be the youngest learners in the school. They will have their first experience of the public school system during a time of uncertainty. Working in a Title I school, my students come from low-income homes, with Covid-19 making things even harder for our families. All students in our school receive free breakfast and lunch during the school year. My students are faced with many challenges at home and in school. Many students suffer from asthma and allergies. However, I want to make my classroom a safe haven for all my students, free of any limitations towards their health and development.
My students deserve a safe classroom where they can breathe clean healthy air.
Having my classroom in an old portable, there have been leaks throughout the years. The air purifier will not only help the many students that have asthma but will clean the air and help prevent the spread of germs for everyone.
My Project
With New York City DOE schools expected to open with in-person learning, the allergen remover Honeywell HPA300 True HEPA Air Purifier will help capture and remove airborne particles found in classrooms, like pollen, dust, mold, and germs to improve the air quality for my students.
It will help with the ventilation in the classroom which is so crucial for preventing the spread of COVID-19!
My students and their parents will breathe easy knowing the air in my classroom is fresh and clean. Especially for those students with asthma and allergies!
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
