My Students

Kindergarten students are creative, clever, and very enthusiastic learners. The students in my school receive free lunch and breakfast while living in an urban neighborhood. Many of my students are ENL learners. With remote learning looking like a real option for September having a dry erase board and materials to help supplement my remote teaching and folders to organize and keep the students work will be beneficial whether we need to continue remote learning or if we’re back in the “brick and mortar” building.

My Project

I never imagined that I would find myself remotely teaching from home and that my students would be learning new material through video conferencing calls and recorded home videos. We are charging forward and looking at it as a learning opportunity for all!

The magnetic dry erase easel and magnetic letters will serve as as a tool that I can use during our online meetings allowing me to have a place to illustrate and display the material that we are learning.

It will also display the charts that we need during my pre-recorded lessons. I will also be able to use it in the classroom, in small groups when we return to the building. The other materials included in this project will help me store essential items and display material on the board.
