My Students

My students come from diverse backgrounds where many homes do not have English as their spoken language. But that does not stop them from achieving all of their goals in my classroom!

All students learn differently.

One way that has shown great success is working collaboratively with peers. It is amazing what I see my students create when working with their classmates.

Projects are conducted regularly. My students often take a project guideline and alter it with their own unique ideas. This is when the most learning takes place for all of my students.

My Project

Forget those boring days in school where all learning took place from a textbook. Each day our classroom engages in hands-on activities and projects that can come to life for parents at home.

The best way to demonstrate our work in action is through photographs.

That is why we need a Polaroid camera and paper. Your generous donation will build conversations at home and demonstrate hands-on learning from our "home away from home."

My students love to come in and check out the new photographs hanging around our classroom. It creates a fun, warm environment for learning.

Ultimately, my students can hold on to the memories they have made in my 4th grade classroom through photographs.
