Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are truly some of the best people I know! I am so thankful I get to learn with them. I work with Pre-K-5th grade learners with a variety of learning abilities and needs, including members of inclusion and multiple disabilities classrooms. They are all brilliant and motivated students with deep joy and resilience.

Each child communicates in diverse, unique ways.

My students benefit from being surrounded with opportunities to communicate throughout their day. My goal is for all my students to find a sense of belonging and freedom by gaining access to language, whatever that may look like for them.

My Project

These materials will provide my classroom with necessary furniture and supplies, as well as materials to foster students' learning.

Each of my students possesses diverse and unique language and learning needs.

I would love to have materials for them to create a comfortable and equipped learning environment. These materials will provide me with what I need to create adequate lessons, will provide appropriate storage and seating for my classroom, as well as provide my students with the materials they need to target their unique and diverse language goals.
