My Project

We have made it to the end of our Afterschool Literacy Program! From October to the beginning of May, students attended afterschool literacy tutoring from Monday-Thursday for an hour after school. Their efforts paid off because we have seen huge improvements in reading acquisition from our littlest learners to our older learners. It's been great to see how their hard work and teacher efforts have improved their decoding ad comprehension abilities.

To reward students for their hard work, we would like to provide an end of the program celebration!

However, in order to pull this off, we need a few materials. The karaoke microphones will be used for karaoke time during the party. We will be able to connect them to our Bluetooth speakers, and students can get into the lyrics of some of their favorite songs. The bubble machines are not only for this celebration but they can be added for additional celebrations. By having a non-handheld bubble machine, it allows us to be able to focus on ensuring safety throughout the party. Unfortunately, the glow sticks bundles are for a one time use. But we plan on having a good time at our party with glow headbands, glasses, bracelets, and necklaces. Lastly, the stress balls will be used as party favors!

We are very much ready to get the party started!
