Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students this year are the sweetest, most caring, empathetic, and diligent students. They exemplify leadership skills in class by helping others and being proactive.

Every year, I stock my prize box with a variety of different rewards where students earn tickets to redeem them from prizes.

These rewards are highly coveted by my students and will keep them engaged in learning. Students know that they can points by staying engaged, focused, and persevering through problems they face in the classroom. They can redeem these tickets for prizes.

By incentivizing my learning, students learn to build and grow positive learning behaviors. These are the qualities I want to help foster in my students in order for them to become leaders when they move onto middle school. Students will work on these qualities until it becomes second nature for them and they will blossom into independent learners.
