Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our music department is excited to begin the development of our Music Production classes. As we start on this journey, we are quickly finding that there are many supplies that, while not immediately essential to the class, will make students' lives easier and make the whole process more enjoyable. Compatible headphones would help students immensely, especially when the class starts to require careful listening to audio samples. It will also allow students to work on their projects without interfering with other students' work.

Some exciting projects we have lined up will include students conducting interviews with both classmates and teachers, as well as searching out unique audio samples in the world around them.

In order to do this successfully, portable microphones that students can easily carry around are essential. Further, in order to best streamline the process, having adaptors that allow students to make their recordings on their phones will serve to make the process portable and easily accessible.

We are very excited to get this program off the ground, and any help in doing so is greatly appreciated.
