Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The dividers for testing will help students feel comfortable when they're taking tests in my classroom. For example, they won't have to worry about others cheating off of them. And students won't have to waste testing time by having to move their desks into single rows. With these dividers students can automatically get started on their tests.

The books will be added to my classroom library.

My goal is to help boost my students' literacy by showing them books they can enjoy. I want to make reading as engaging as I possibly can for them.

My students all come from immigrant families who are trying to build a good life for their children. My students all come from different backgrounds with high and low skill sets. However they are motivated to learn despite the difficulties in trying to understand a new language for them.
