Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom is a hub of activity, and I believe that organized learning environments are essential for maximizing student success. I'm seeking to create a space where students can focus on their work without distractions, and where resources are readily available when needed. Donations of chair pockets would provide students with convenient, personal storage for their books, notebooks, and supplies, reducing clutter and promoting independence. Similarly, privacy folders would create individual workspaces during tests and focused activities, fostering a sense of security and minimizing distractions.

I'm requesting basic classroom essentials to further enhance our learning environment.

A generous supply of construction paper would provide students with opportunities for creative expression and hands-on learning across all subject areas. A bulk set of pencils, including traditional #2 pencils and jumbo pencils for younger learners, would ensure that every student has the tools they need to write and learn. Quality glue sticks are also essential for completing a variety of arts and crafts projects.

My goal as a veteran teacher has always been to create a cozy, colorful space that makes kids want to come to school! By providing these tools and resources, you're not just donating supplies but investing in a more focused, creative, and successful learning environment for my students!
