Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are a hardworking, diverse, and enthusiastic group of 8th graders! Our school is a Title 1 school, with over 85% of students coming from low-income families. One of our important goals this year, is to help our students overcome their test anxiety.

Our mixed population of special needs, English language learner, and general education students will use the dividers to help them concentrate and stay focused during exams.

The additional materials, such the binder rings, magnets, and boarders will be used to create word walls and other manipulatives and scaffolds for the students to study from. It is important that students have these types of materials to help them remember things for their tests.
