My Project

Recently, my third graders were introduced to the word, "Terrarium." Out of students, only two knew what a terrarium was. We were introduced to this word while reading the book, "The Case of the Gasping Garbage." There is nothing more real to students to make connections between stories they read, and themselves. We researched how to build a terrarium, and the kids were so inspired to build one for themselves. Unfortunately, most of my students couldn't get all the materials together. I would love to provide this once in a third grader's lifetime opportunity to build a small terrarium! Please help me provide my students with the materials needed to do this project!
