My Students

My students and I are finishing our first classroom novel.

I love to implement hands-on learning and would like to be creative when it comes to our book report.

We are reading "Ghost", by Jason Reynolds.

It’s a story about a young boy who has been through a lot and has found a love for running.

I would love to have groups of students create their book reports on tennis shoes.

We would be forever grateful for any donation!

We are in need of twenty-four pairs; four groups of eight.

My Project

My students enjoy hands-on learning projects...

We are finishing up our Ghost Novel, by Jason Reynolds.

It is about a boy who has lived through very hard times and has joined a track team.

When we finish our novel, my students will be paired with one shoe.

Each group will create a book report on one shoe.

Students will present their "Book Report Shoe" report to our class.

Creativity, hands-on learning will help build my students' love for learning!

Then, we get to hang their "track shoe" book reports from the ceiling for all to see!
