My Project

Every day I hear complex stories from my students--their dramas, their obstacles, and their successes. Many of my students come from challenging backgrounds even I couldn't have imagined.

With your help, this camera setup will allow my students to record themselves, discuss their stories, and spread opportunity and awareness.

They will be able to explore their creativity with this camera by filming their experiences and recording personal podcasts. Later we will use these as a class to post online (with parental consent) so they can get their voices out into the world.

Not only that, the skills they'll develop in script writing and video editing will translate to careers and occupational skills for each of student!
