Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a teacher in a low-come/high poverty school district. Despite the many challenges my students face, they look forward to coming to school where I provide creativity and meaningful experiences. My students come in with a smile excited to know what our daily plans are, which are memorable to them.

As I prepare my first grade students for college and careers, I also remind them that learning can be fun.

My students try to excel with what they have and are given.

My Project

Students will use the MimioPad and the MimioHub Wireless Receiver to see the visuals regardless of where they are sitting in the classroom. I will have the flexibility to move around and monitor behavior. I will also be able to walk around the classroom to help struggling students without many interruptions. This is also a tool that students could use to show how they answered the problems which will help them in future testing grades.

The MimioPad will enhance my classroom by helping students see with a better view and decrease behavior distractions to produce success in the lessons.

I can be on the move and keep my lesson flowing with the MimioPad wireless tablet since it allows me to control the whiteboard from anywhere in my classroom. Students with limited mobility can participate in interactive lessons without going to the whiteboard.
