My Students

My students are loving and caring children. They come to school ready to learn and are motivated!

They work hard on their assignments and strive to do their best.

They come from low-income housing and some come from other countries and are learning English. They are eager to learn new skills in the classroom and especially love technology.

They love STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). They are often looking for new ways to be future innovators! I know they love school, and I hope to keep them engaged all year long!

My Project

I am requesting class sets of mice and headphones. My students often are distracted easily during Computer Science and STEM classes. They love using the computers and technology in the classroom. With the headphones students will be able to work more independently to complete their assignments. Headphones will also allow me to use education video tools like Google Applied Digital Skills and other sound features on the computers with students.

My students have access to a class set of laptops but often have trouble using the track pad.

With the use of a mouse for each laptop, students can easier drag, drop, click, right-click with ease. A mouse is an essential tool for young Computer Scientists.

I know both these tools will better my teaching and my students' learning!
