My Students

My students love learning stations, but need to also learn responsibility. If they have a place to store and charge the tablets they can take responsibility for taking care of them.

Almost 70% of students at our school qualify for free or reduced price lunches.

Making learning fun is very important with these students. One way we do that is using technology. We have tablets but my students need to practice using them responsibly. One way to do this is by giving them a place to store and charge the tablets.

My Project

My students work on learning to use supplies carefully and responsibly. One area that they have trouble with is returning items once they are done with them. They need to have a place to return our tablets that is also easy for them to plug them back in when they are done. My students don't like to get a tablet that needs to be charged but need to have a way of solving the problem. This can be done easily if they have a spot to return them and charge them. This simple activity will teach them how to tidy up when they are done and how to be responsible with our materials.
