Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need tablets to access the computer based curriculum in our EDGE (Empowered and Driven to Grow & Engage) class. They will learn robotics coding, financial literacy, digital citizenship and leadership skills.

Students will use these tablets to code the Sphero RVR robot cars in interactive and hands-on activities, and access the online course work.

They are extremely excited to begin coding and using these robots, new to us this year, and cannot wait to begin!

Having the tablets will ensure all students are fully engaged as they will be working both independently and collaboratively in problem solving and critical thinking. I am confident these tablets and the skills they learn, will give students the edge they need to be successful and productive in this rapidly changing, technology driven economy.
